The new senior managers that were bought in, the CEO decided to change course, kicked the CPO and CTO co-founders away and replaced them with a whole layer FAANG topped by a CPTO. This management layer never cared about existing culture or way of doing things, and takes decisions on the backroom without any justifications, always presenting them as the good of the company. Hiring focus is now the US to bring more expertise to the workforce, Only Staff+ (L6+) levels are being hired, forget about applying if you resume doesn't have Staff or FAANG. You are also expected to follow the hierarchy and not raise waves. This is now a code shop and that's it. Innovation and fun are dead.
