      Pros

      Changing strategy towards Internet of Things

      Cons

      Though company is changing its growth strategy, it is leveraging its previous customers to do so. Poor value alignment with those of us that believe in supporting customers and fulfilling our commitments to them. There have been so many layoffs you are hard pressed to find someone who isn't looking to leave the company including senior management. It is the definition of a toxic work environment.

      Executives have a really good overall strategy and vision for the company - company is becoming much more innovative with new IoT direction Good benefits --- A lot of paid time off, employees get their birthday off, and have the ability to work from home You can make real contributions and your hard work pays off Great co-workers - is a team environment Looking forward to more IoT acquisitions

      Company is constantly changing - must be able to deal with change and ambiguity to be successful

      PTC - Cutting Edge Tech Company.

      Pros

      Cutting edge technology with a world class strategy. Company treats it employees very well and always communicates the company's vision clearly. Very friendly environment and loved the people I worked with. Have monthly meetings with the executive staff to discuss any upcoming changes/acquisition/struggles, which helped tremendously. I left to pursue a personal venture but PTC is without a doubt one of my favorite employers I have worked for in my career.

      Cons

      Ever changing strategy but that is the nature of the software industry! 40% of the business is tied to Europe and with the fluctuation of the euro in past years it is very hard to avoid cost cutting. That goes for any large company with international business.
