1. Smaller teams. 2. Flexibility in office timings, switching different teams. 3. If you have the potential you could even switch roles, I have seen support engineers being a software engineer. 4. state-of-art technology.

Cons

1. In SLM domain (I was part of), development work is not much, but in other new ventures like IOT you will get to work on newer things.

Cons

It is very difficult to build a stable career. You will be always under the risk of a company reorganization. Very rigid structure and few career possibilities. Driven by the stock market.
