      Pros

      Still lots of tribal knowledge and innovation left in this 85 year old company. You do get to learn a lot from the senior people in the company some of whom have been working with the company for more than 20 - 25 years. There are opportunities for growth as well if you have what it takes.

      Cons

      They recently got rid of stock awards for people E12 and below. This was a big blow to many in the engineering (non-management) discipline. Even a modest award could add a few thousand dollars as the stock price appreciates and that has hurt many people - especially since healthcare costs keep going up every year.

      Pros

      This was a great environment for an individual to gain an understanding of a global business. Overall, executive leadership consistently strives to hold to mission and strategy. Strategy is clearly communicated.
