Pros

-Ability to work from home (varies by department) -New downtown office -Company is growing (modestly)

Cons

-Systems Integration Finance is a glorified credit analyst role, it is not a true analyst role and you will spend your life punching keys on a keyboard -Culture/team spirit is non-existent -Management has basically zero interaction with their staff (unless they are micromanaging), employees do not feel valued and managers are unable to help resolve issues -Advertised as rotational but little to no upward mobility -The work is completely mindless and the hours are awful during month end (13+ hour work days at quarter end) -The department is run so poorly that employees are constantly working late and dealing with "fire drills" -Tons of turnover creates extra work for employees who stay -Pay and benefits are lackluster -Company is desperately trying to cut costs -Management is either incompetent or incapable of running things efficiently

Pros

Best in class products. Excellent mission statement to help customers do their best in moments that matter.

Cons

Despite positive earnings quarter over quarter and year after year, this company continues to make poor decisions regarding infrastructure and rewarding employees. They use earnings to buy up redundant companies and then they off their talent to pay for it. If you have gray hair, for get about actually seeing a graceful retirement. Medical insurance costs are twice what my spouse pays at a smaller company. PTO is only good if you are there for more than 15 years. Employees are often asked to take pay downgrades or upgrade to management with no training or incentive, so you can have a whole team making more than you do. No more stock options offered. I could go on and on about how this company is not compensating employees fairly. But the bottom line is once you leave MSI, you won't miss the BS at all.

Pros

Hard working people in the U. S. who strive for excellence. Flexible PTO, adequate benefits.

Cons

Continually sending jobs overseas to reduce U.S. headcount all to save money. Lack of innovation. Don't allow workers to utilize their full potential. Continuous head count cuts to save money at the expense of the employees. Many good people let go and the remaining few expected to fill the void. It's all about driving up the stock price to benefit the top dogs.
