LM is a huge corporation with stifling processes for just about every task you can imagine. Even the simplist requests, including accessing business web sites and downloading any software free or otherwise, require management approval LM also stresses all sorts of diversity, ethical, and leadership directives, while continuing to operate in standard "business policitics" as usual fashion. There is a tendancy for people to be piggion holed into one job if they are good at it. In some large programs there is no vision or leadership.A lot of times schedules are made up by some one high and no input or concidereation is made to reality.. and as such the team becomes demoralized... On top of that some of the processes instituted are such a big waste of tax payers money...I understand peer review are important but its a real waste of time to rev a document to REV G just because non technical people don't understand a technical document. I'm sorry you cannot have a highly technical document dumbed down so that a high school drop out can understand. thats not what the intent of the document is.. Its for a technical person to understand a technical document. Why waste all this time and money to rev a document so that Joe the plummer can understand it? Its because its cost plus program and we have a bunch of Joe plummbers inspecting the document.
