Pros

There is free lunch once a month.

Cons

No work life balance. Directors and executives are known for screaming at employees and Employee Relations does not take any claim seriously. There is no formal training and policies change quickly without any notice or instruction but you are required to still do the job. It is VERY common to see someone crying at their desk because of stress. Managers do not give fair reviews. NOT a safe space for black people and people of color. They treat warehouse employees unfairly and make it so that there are little to no black employees in high positions even though they are qualified. Getting a promotion takes on average 4 years if you are in an entry level position. Admins are forced to do the job of higher roles with no pay bump. The CEO quit because there was no work life balance. They’ve been sued in other countries for inhumane work conditions.

Pros

None of signifcance (see below).

Cons

Worked at one of the busiest stores in the country for several years, at the bottom of the food chain so to speak. The flexibility & workload required from this company is closer to slave labour than any legitimate form of work. Zero consideration for the human aspect of their employees, a lot of lip service but ignored at ground level. Management absolve themselves through a combination of lying, cheating and borderline abuse of their staff to keep things ticking over day to day. They make all kinds of mistakes and will never admit to their errors, try to shuffle the workload onto the hardest workers instead of improving the workforce as a whole (who eventually quit). An absolute shambles. Reading the other reviews here this seems to be systemic and you will seldom meet a manager in this company who is a respectable person with any sort of values. Which is a shame, because there are a lot of hard workers mistreated and undoubtedly suffering from some form of Stockholm Syndrome. 10% extra pay over other retail jobs in return for 500% extra workload and unlimited flexibility on your end. It's a terrible deal once that hits home and nobody in their right mind would want to do it for any length of time.
