Pros

People you work with are amazing. Made a lot of great friends over the years

Cons

Where to begin... Politics, politics, politics. JCI does not care how long you have been with them, your experience or your value. You do not count if you do not have degree. If you do have a degree even if it is in worm farming, you qualify as a human being. Management completely detached from business and only care about the numbers for bonus purposes. Pay and compensation are not competative unless you are in management and then you are VERY well compensated. They rarely promote from within and hire people with ZERO industry experience into management. If you are a favorite, there is not end to how far you will go even if you are not qualified. Ethics and Integrity do not really exist. Harrassment is commonplace and completely ignored by HR.

Pros

Coworkers are awesome and a great help.

Cons

Supervisors expect to much. It's all about the numbers, not the employees.

Pros

The weekly pay checks, the friendships built.

Cons

The culture is bad. To begin with everyone is there to work and accomplish the same goal, whether one person been there 1 year or 15 years. YET there is a tier 1 which gets paid better than the tier 2. And there is no pay scale that allows tier 2 to eventually catch up. Management is horrible! They hire people from the floor to supervise without the educational requirements to fulfill the position. All leaders need some type of management course that teaches them the responsibilities needed to successfully supervise a shift. The supervisors are not in sync which creates a mess on the floor. AND THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS.. No vacation days to use for the first two years and no sick days and this is a manual labor job.
