I really can't think of any. I did have some good friends there.

Cons

The HR department was terribly run as was IT. No one knew what was going on. My job role was constantly changing without any consultation with me and often without telling me until the last minute. One day people turned up at our area and told us that we would all be moving desks the next day.

As the market turns around, Jefferies will continue its leadership position as an independant and diversified investment bank and institutional brokerage, catering to small and mid-size firms.

Cons

Favoratism runs rampant at Jefferies. Hiring and promotions are based on who you know, not what you know. Many times, mid-level management stiffles communication because they are more interested in promoting themselves and their "cronies" rather than foster open communication, build trust and share knowledge between different groups.
