      Pros

      Decent work - life balance, more so than the typical large firm, with tape-outs and productive first silicon milestones as natural exceptions. Colleagues are friendly and supportive, easy to work with.

      Cons

      Career advancement opportunities are few and far between. Compensation may be somewhat less competitive, so be prepared to walk if the offer is less than your budget needs, or negotiate for a competitive rate.

      Pros

      Very nice company to grow at and get started. Of course many things can be achieved depending on performance but also luck (unfortunatelly). Plus: training, work-life balance, time-off policies.

      Cons

      Being a pretty big company the management and bureaucracy can be overwhelming at times (here some patience is very usefull).
