Pros

Has all the high-tech company culture trends like free food, coffee, games, unlimited tech resources, and more.

Cons

If you are on a team that supports employees (e.g. HR, Finance, etc.) you will be vastly underappreciated and underpaid compared to other Indeedians.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review about working within HR in Indeed. Its disappointing for us to read that you felt you were under-appreciated as that is not the culture or environment we want to foster. Our HR teams are critical to our business as they support our employees at every step of their journey with us so its important that they too are supported. We’d love to talk to you further about your review so please reach out for a confidential chat to inside@indeed.com

Pros

Unlimited snacks, breakfast, WFH, Swag, Decent healthcare benefits

Cons

- Immature management, who will act wishy/washy towards you if you’re not in the “boys or girls” club, even though you get your job done and mind your business. - HR dept that is too concerned with playing video games than implementing real change such as DIVERSITY and office morale. - A system that was filled with glitches and daily updates. Programs that were unclear when trying to find solutions. Management seemed annoyed when probed with questions. - Pay; will pay a person with a bachelors / masters degree the same as someone without one. - Pointless meetings: ie, 1 hr meetings created by managers to celebrate someone’s bday- All the while complaining, thereafter, when quotas haven’t been met. Just give me a card and call it a day! - Condescending, arrogant coworkers (for the most part) that either have stereotypical expectations of colleagues and steer clear Or try too hard to present themselves according to how they perceive the person is going to stereotypically act. - Rigged review system that gives you a high score after resigning because they don’t want you to write reviews such as this one.

Thanks so much leaving us feedback about your time working for us in our Client Success Team here at Indeed. Our HR team are meant to be there to help build bridges between departments and people. As such, we are disappointed to read you felt that you never received that level of support from our team. We want everyone at Indeed to feel like they belong and are absolutely committed to fostering an environment where inclusion is valued and leveraged. We are excited that we have established external partnerships with organisations that help us identify rich diverse talent. We have rolled out inclusion related training across the business to ensure employees are aware of issues around D&I and promote inclusive behaviours. However from your feedback, we still have some way to go on our inclusion journey, and always welcome further conversations around this so please email us on inside@indeed.com

Thank you for sharing a review, and we are sorry to hear you felt your time with us wasn’t a positive experience. We are glad to see you enjoyed our benefits - it is important to us that we provide our employees with good perks such as healthcare. Indeed Australia is the challenger within the local market and of course, this comes with its ups and downs, but we are also excited about the opportunities this presents for our team to grow and further establish itself. We are constantly reviewing our policies and market offerings, but would welcome another further insights or feedback from you on how we can do better :) Please reach out to inside@indeed.com if you would like to have a confidential conversation with our team.
