Pros

- People are great and believe in the mission of helping job seekers and employers. - Great cross functional partnerships

Cons

- Pay is terrible, really terrible - 25 to 40% below a comparable role in tech/media/saas - Zero innovation - no real product develop for 5+ years - New competition is running laps around Indeed with their tech stack, client adoption and true integrations. - Use layoffs to hide a declining business (revenue was down 3% year over year) so they laid of 1600 people to cover the $30-40M decline in revenue

Pros

Flexible PTO Still open to Remote Work Good health care coverage Even without DEI, strong inclusion

Cons

Little strategy overall - past leadership let things run wild and ship is now sinking. Process are frequently archaic, bureaucratic and built off ancestral knowledge. Thing you'd expect to find as basics in a 20 year old company are not here. Career growth is ambivalent - no defined process and things are up to how managers feel. Not transparent on how pay works when getting offer (bonuses, RSUs and refreshers - that you'll have to deal with exchange rate penalties to cash out. Lack of leadership credibility - JA that has gone on for years without finishing. Other hot programs that get dropped, delayed or lost. Frequent layoffs.

Pros

great benefits, decent pay, unlimited PTO

Cons

very downhill these past couple of years. Its nothing like when I started 3 years ago. Micromanaging, hard to hit Quoatas, its like the want you to fail. 3 layoffs in 3 years. Its a great place to start your career but unless they come up with a new product that actually works (so far none of them have), I dont think Indeed will be around in the same capacity in the next 5-10 years.
