      Pros

      Great benefits for all. The pay is also quite good. The name will really open a lot of doors for you down the line. They also offer great training opportunities for all employees to join in on.

      Cons

      No such thing as a 40 hour week. they expect much more of a time commitment from their employees though which is a bit unfair in my opinion. Also there is no real office. So many people work from home so it is tough to meet coworkers. Theres no real office christmas party and things like that, youre kind of on your own.

      Pros

      The pay at IBM is good. Also, one of the real positives is that there are many different products worked on in IBM. This means that one has the ability to move around and work on these different projects while taking the opportunity to learn many different things, including newer technologies that one might not have the opportunity to work with at a smaller company. I always felt that I could find better job stability at a smaller company, but I could never find the vast assortment of technologies to work with that I find at IBM. That's the main reason I like it.

      Pros

      IBM allows a somewhat flexible work schedule for some jobs.

      Cons

      No Job Security. Tremendous effort to offshore all jobs to lower cost countries. Pension reduced and frozen from active employees. Medical benefits taken away for retirees. Employee performance ratings decreased for no apparent reason.
