Pros

Great management, great opportunity for career growth. Move up the ladder very quickly.

Cons

Sometimes growing so quickly hard to address everyone's needs. Talks about being open and culture but when trying to help give honest feedback managers don't always listen and disregard your input.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us--our sales training team is indeed stellar. Openness to new ideas and arming our managers with even more tools they need to empower you on a daily basis are core priorities for 2016, as I hope you're seen on the wiki and in other materials, so I hope you'll see the needle move soon on some of the opportunities you've raised above, but if not, my door is always open-would welcome feedback on how we can get better. -Katie

Great Culture and Place to Develop

Pros

The management team is very transparent with the employees, sharing all types of financials, guidance, and big bets for the company moving forward. Lots of autonomy and freedom to manage your role. Lots of great benefits like stocked kitchen, lunches, beer, admission into road races, ski weekends, mystery dinners, and more. They invest a lot in their employees to be happy and create an environment where everyone wants to solve for the customer and grow. The people who work here are all smart in their own way. Development from your direct peers is something I've really taken advantage as there are so many talented people to tap if you're willing to.

Cons

The only area for improvement is having more structured training on an ongoing basis. I think these are growing pains the company is going through and have made some early tweaks to improve it and still has room to improve.

Thanks for the feedback--I specifically love your last note on how our investment in employees translates to our customer experience. That's a huge part of our value proposition and something I agree we need to continue to focus on and invest in. With regard to training, the L&D team has some exciting updates to share on this front soon and our team is working in parallel to create formal and informal channels to help employees grow--if you have specific ideas or suggestions, send them our way, would love to hear them! Most importantly, delighted you're enjoying your time at HubSpot--we are honored to have you here.

I think everyone feels a little bit lost early on in their HubSpot experience, and agree we can do better at removing that friction from the learning process--hopefully we have gotten better even since you left, but if you have specific feedback on where and when we could improve send it my way. I hope your time at HubSpot continues to serve you in your new position and company--we love our alumni, so thank you for sharing this feedback.
