Pros

I've been working at HubSpot since I graduated college a few years ago and can't really imagine being anywhere else. Since day 1, I've been given complete trust in my work and projects. I started on the marketing team doing everything from writing email copy to creating offers and ebooks, to publishing blog posts, to coming up with social campaigns to promote HubSpot's global presence. There's always something to work on and anyone can say "I think this is an important project so I'm going to lead it and see what happens". I didn't realize how rare that was for a recent grad to be able to do until I talked to friends of mine who were working on things that would never actually be customer-facing. The biggest reason though I've been able to succeed in that environment is because of the people, particularly managers. I've read a lot on Glassdoor and other platforms about HubSpot's management, and while I can only speak to my experience, I've had amazing managers my past 4 years here. They know when to be hands-on and hands-off, and they don't just manage, they're impressive individual contributors which has made me work harder. Beyond managers, the people here are great. They go above and beyond to teach (someone led intro to HTML and coding classes during lunch time for anyone who wanted to learn and it was super helpful), and I truly enjoy being around them. People I work with are wacky, quirky, and kind. I'm going on 4 years here and I'm excited for what's next!

Cons

There are some growing pains like any company and things still being figured out, but I think that's normal.

I absolutely love your description of HubSpotters as wacky, quirky, and kind--I happen to agree on all three. I love it when people decided to start their career with us and stay and grow alongside the company, we're honored you chose us and I hope the trend continues. I'm fired up to hear how much you love Brian's commitment to chatting with employees formally and informally--I know very few leaders who are as engaged personally in the business, and I think you can feel and see that as an employee and hopefully as a customer and partner as well. Thanks for both your thoughtful review and for the impact you're having on our marketing team, we are so lucky to have your talent here! -Katie

Pros

I've been working at HubSpot for over two years and the career opportunities that I have been afforded have been nothing short of amazing. HubSpot is a fast paced, energetic environment and if you put your hand up to get involved with projects that help with the growth of the company, you can be given the opportunity to make an impact. I love how HubSpot has become a truly global company in the years since I've joined and there are no barriers when it comes to opportunities for collaboration. I work daily with colleagues at our US HQ and very often with my counterparts in our Sydney and Singapore offices which can be so insightful in terms of cultural perspectives and has been wonderful for my own professional development. Some of my favourite benefits/perks that make my job even more enjoyable or show that HubSpot cares about my growth & well-being: - Annual Gym Reimbursement - Tuition Reimbursement (night classes to up-skill in my new role at a top university) - On-site massages - Free book program The most valuable benefit of all is working with some of the most hardworking and inspiring individuals I know!

Cons

The interview process can be tough but it is designed to see if the opportunity could be as good of a fit for you as you could be for HubSpot.

So delighted to hear you've had a great experience in Dublin and that you're taking full advantage of tuition reimbursement as part of your growth trajectory at HubSpot, it's one of my favorite benefits we offer as well. Most importantly, thanks for all of your hard work-as Dharmesh noted today on his wiki post, we weren't entirely sure what to expect when we launched our first international office, and the results, people, business, customers, and culture Dublin has generated have made our entire organization better thanks to folks like you. So thank you for both a great review and for helping build an incredible office that's been instrumental to our growth! Sincerely, Katie

Hi there, thanks for being part of our technical support team--your team is so critical to our growth and our customer's success, so I deeply appreciate it. Sorry to hear that management is all over the place--in your specific case, I'd love to understand if you feel we (the management team) are all over the place in decision-making or if you're having a specific challenge with manager direction and leadership on your team. Both are obviously concerning in different ways, so if you have any interest in chatting about it, let me know--would love to hear context on how we can improve from your perspective. Most importantly, thank you for sharing your take and for working at HubSpot each day, we're lucky to have you. -Katie
