      Pros

      Good time off policy and able to work from home.

      Cons

      Very club-y. There's a definite white boys' club. My new boss didn't contact ANYONE he supervised for 6 months (even though I contacted him) after he took over his job and that was in spite of being only 100 miles away, and frequently visiting my site!

      Pros

      When I started at Honeywell it was a great place to work, they were very family oriented and cared about you as a person. After Allied Signal bought us things are progressively getting worse. I am in a union shop, so when we get a raise in wages our out of pocket medical premium goes up so we really do not see a raise in wages at all. We used to have excellent medical coverage but that keeps getting more expensive with less coverage. Sometimes i swear that they stay awake at night just trying to find ways to piss us off!

      Allied Signal becoming the parent company and the plant manager at Golden Valley.
