Pros

Some associates take pride in their work and believe in teamwork.

Cons

Manager puts on an act in front of bosses. Once their pre-announced visit is done. Back to normal. Several workers do more than their share while the manager's favorites do very little. It's Club Med for who she likes and a miserable place for those that are not part of the clique. Worst place I've ever worked at. I guess as long as they're seeing decent numbers, they'll overlook nonsense and lack of ethics. Dishonesty starts at the top and sets the tone for her girlfriends and others.

Pros

-Great coworkers, have made friends here -Management is helpful and listens to feedback -Schedule is flexible, they work with your availability -Always something to do, never bored -Never have to work too late, we close at 9:30pm and are usually out by 10:00 -Yearly raises, not huge increases in pay but a considerable amount -Paid weekly -Parties are thrown often for good customer feedback and reaching sales goals -Promote from within the company

Cons

-Store manager is hardly there which is both good and bad. Employees prefer the assistant managers. They are much nicer/laid back. -Not paid enough for the amount of work they expect of you -Customers continuously wreck the store and ask for discounts on most merchandise -Full time isn't really full time. I usually accumulate about 32-37 hours a week -Part time employees come and go, people tend to not stick around -Store manager and assistant managers do not communicate very well to one another -Push store credit cards

Pros

Great benefits. Meet lots of new people. Some really nice people to work with. Got to see new merchandise as it came in.

Cons

Long hours, store manager changed schedule all the time. @ 10yrs of service got a $50 gift card. 10% discount sucks. District manager sweeps issues under the rug especially if you came from Toys R Us. No confidentiality. If you stir the pot watch your back.
