Pros

Managers are pretty straightforward most of the time. They did not make me feel uncomfortable about disclosing my disability and were reasonably accommodating. The job's never boring. There's food every now and again, which is also cool. Pay's getting a boost so that's nice. They hire without a ton of experience so if you need to get retail training this is a good way to start.

Cons

Shoplifters, it's crowded all the time, closing always keeps you over hours and management doesn't always account for that in scheduling so part-timers need to watch their hours. You're really pressured to sell credit cards and all you get is a drawing in a raffle, sometimes customers yell at you for it. Return policy is too loose, and customers often return open food items months later.

Pros

It's a beautiful store with great products and close to home.

Cons

It's a brand new store with opening pains, not enough emplyees which is bringing the morale down. People are put on the cash registers at the busiest times with not enough first-hand training resulting in poor customer service. A few managers have condescending attitudes and honestly the pay isn't high enough to be treated like children when everyone is working hard.

Pros

Great Management who worked with the associates, I included, to make sure that there was a great work environment. Never had a single problem.

Cons

The cons i would talk about is being understaffed. I was the cart guy/take out heavy items, and a lot of times, especially on busy weekends, i would have multiple carry outs at once and I couldn't be in five places at once.
