      Don't get fooled by the perks and the pretty office

      Pros

      - Perks are great and offices are cool, but that is not going to keep you happy in the long run. - The CEO is great but the rest of senior management needs to get it to together. - They have a great HR and Corporate Image team.

      Cons

      - Insurance is expensive, no 401k matching. - Salaries are sub-par compared to their direct competitors. - Executive team is just gunning to make The Street happy quarter after quarter. - There is no Engineering leadership in Boston, making all decisions driven by marketing, sales or product (that used to be either part of marketing or sales previously). - Revolving door for product and sales teams. Marketing too but at least that has been getting better. Ask me in three months.

      Pros

      - Great offices - Good management in the US, India and Australia. - Fantastic solutions - Awesome people - Very horizontal organization, Fantastic CEO - Opportunites to grow in the US - They have a vision - Annual kick-off in the caribean

      Cons

      My cons are related to the EMEA region: - Bad management - We had very good managers in the past but they are no longer with the company. - They let people with talent go, or they fire them. - Focus in the UK only - hiring people in Dublin mostly with no language skills, only English speakers - Resources mostly for the UK - no investment for othher countries. - Some products are not localized in any other language - only English. - EMEA very disconnected to the US - it looks like we are two different companies

      Great and challenging place to work

      Pros

      I have been with LogMeIn for 8 years. Since the beginning I have felt the trust and the support came from my colleagues and from my managers. I was always able to find people who listened to my ideas and received support and a chance to prove.

      Cons

      It has recently changed a lot for good. Though it is hard to change old behaviours. Please focus on what has been started and support it. Also, sometimes it can be too demanding though.
