We’re happy to hear you enjoy the work/life balance at LogMeIn and feel surrounded by top talent. We agree! This year we did a lot of work to create more diverse and robust benefits for our employees, to address needs for every stage of their life. We also shared our intent to launch an ESPP program later this year. You comment on benefits being reduced Q after Q; it would be great to get your feedback directly on what specifically you are seeing reduced over the past several quarters. Please reach out to our head of HR (jo.deal@logmein.com) or any one of the HR team so we can hear your specific feedback on areas of concern.

Pros

Strong culture. The LogMeIn Sydney team live by the 5 company values: Thrive Together, Collaborate Openly, Be Accountable, Engage Fearlessly, and Advance Confidently. At the monthly All Hands meeting, team members are nominated by their peers and recognised for their contributions. This says a lot about the culture here; people genuinely value working with each other. Benefits, pay and commission. The benefits program for LogMeIn Sydney is amazing. Top health cover, salary continuance etc. are just the basics. We get floating leave days, time off for volunteering, subsidised study and individual training/PD allowance. If you work in sales the commission structure is insane! Aggressive splits, accelerators, regular SPIFFs that pay out big $'s, plus incentive points to spend online. Office, location and facilities. The company moved into the new Sydney office in Dec 2017 and it’s located in a great spot in Martin Place. We have fixed or flex desks, informal breakout areas, video conferencing in every meeting room, a huge café style kitchen with games and a massive town-hall space. The facilities team provides daily breakfast, drinks, snacks, coffee plus monthly lunches, birthday cakes and special events during the year. Not to mention extras like yoga, soccer, ping pong, pool, darts, and board games. Leadership. Bill Wagner in an inspirational and focused CEO. Enough said. The local leadership team in Sydney works hard to maintain a culture of high performance and transparency. Products and strategy. GotoMeeting and Rescue are the household product brands of LogMeIn. LastPass, Bold360 and Jive are the hottest and fastest-growing, coming from recent acquisitions and product innovations. Being #1 or #2 in each category is an exciting place to be. Career and personal growth opportunities. The APAC region and LogMeIn Sydney has grown consistently for several years, and new roles and career opportunities have been created. They invest a lot in employee training and development with international sales swap, where you work in another office for a week, and monthly breakfast seminars, where external guest speakers present on a range of personal development topics.

Cons

Fast moving, dynamic and growing means - just like any other SaaS company - that LogMeIn is constantly evolving and improving. Change is a constant and can be uncomfortable for some. As the company continues to grow, a minority have found it difficult to adapt and have left.
