There is really no room for growth

Hiring managers have to beg HR to provide diverse candidates for hiring. Women in leadership are constantly undermined. Compliance issues are constantly swept under the rug.

- Some project managers are overpowered; created toxic environment. - Truth is, level of knowledge/expertise is insufficient to take on-board projects, claim execution is performed under quality/budget control standards, let alone embarking on complex ones.

No ratings or feedbacks to one's work. Promotion criteria is unclear.

Depending on the project, the clients demeanor can influence the flow of the project. Due to project ebb and flows layoffs are always possible but this is industry wide.

Balance, resources, training, communications, project support

Too much outsourcing of local work to Philippines and India. Engineers are not respected and department managers don't provide any technical training any longer. Fluor doesn't budget for training as they have been slashed. More worried about employment of managers and not engineers.
