      Pros

      When times are good, there is opportunity to grow as an engineer or branch into project management. Good people to work with. Supervisors care. Excellent pay.

      Cons

      Oil and gas industry is very slow right now. Going through downturn in personnel. When work is tight, the company puts priority on making money versus maybe earning less profit in order to win a project and keep people.

      Health Insurance options are a JOKE

      Pros

      Excellent Pay and fair accumulation of time off with pay (TOWP). Company Match 401k. (100% match to 5%).

      Cons

      Despite working a normal work week of 50 to 60 hours every week. No more than 40 hours of TOWP can be used for a payroll week. Health Insurance offered by Fluor is hands down the WORST COVERAGE I have ever had with ANY employer EVER.. (Most expensive premiums / The least coverage & the Highest deductibles.)
