Short commute, latest design tools, competitive pay, excellent co-workers/direct supervisors.

Cons

High overhead costs make it difficult to win project awards. Top heavy on project management/project controls, so engineering hours are reduced to compensate for overall project cost. Experienced engineers retiring so the knowledge goes out the door with them.

Pros

Benefits, pay, and work overall were great. The work-life balance was fine. The type of work was a joy and was a dream. It WAS the perfect job...but.

Cons

The management did not see the petty backstabbing that was happening at the mid-management levels. Mid-managers micromanaged all their employees as opposed to doing their own jobs (they could barely do their own jobs). It was a back stabbing and ugly nightmare. The campus' were not all on the same page and the head team were not aware of any of it.
