Cons

Notorious, in Greenville, SC at least for being nothing more than a staffing company. Contract ends, u r out and on your own. LOA means nothing, u r on COBRA with no salary. Just know in advance and be ready to find your next job internal or external on your own.

Acquire new skills and work with new technologies. Fluor University and KOL (Knowledge on line) are great tools and learning opportunities.

Cons

You will work on project far from home; some time in harsh environments. In the end it will make a stronger and better person.

Fluor does not have a sweat shop culture like most government contractors have, especially those in the Washington metro area. Employees are treated fairly and with respect at Fluor; morale issues are minimized when you know you are valued. Getting up in the morning and comming to work is not a burden!

Cons

No negative insights...with over 18 years of government contracting experience, this is truly the place to spend the rest of your career!
