Pros

One of the main reasons I love Fluor is for the flexible work hours. Other reasons include the numerous opportunities to find what you love to do-- Several types of projects to work on.

Cons

Job security is not great here to be honest, let alone anywhere else. Very unstable market for Fluor to find jobs for their employees, when they are no projects to work on- no job for you!

Pros

good pay, good experience and good culture. Good opportunities to take on challenging tasks and grow. Get to work the 9/80 schedule that offers good work-life balance. Company is a leader in the industry, get good experience working on big time projects

Cons

The industry is cyclical and as such during downturns extensive lay-offs are common across industry. Fluor in particular has the reputation of larger than normal layoffs compared to peers.
