Pros

Projects in ADAS (e.g. JLR, DOIT, Alliance) are colossal failures—millions of euros wasted on initiatives that yield nothing. Leadership is a sham, dominated by individuals who lack even basic technical understanding. Roles like product owners, software architects, and even agile masters are nothing more than facades; instead of driving progress, they spend all their time fuelling the vicious cycle of politics, manipulation, and deceit. Fake roadmaps, fabricated milestones, and hollow victories are paraded around to hide the complete lack of results.

Cons

This organization is a cesspool of corruption, incompetence, and deceit. Internal mafias, like the notorious German "elevator" mafia in ADAS, rule for long with impunity, blocking any meaningful work from outsiders and ensuring innovation is dead on arrival. These power-hungry factions exist solely to protect their influence, crushing talent and integrity in the process. Technical expertise, especially in data management for autonomous driving, is appallingly non-existent. There’s no pride in engineering, no pursuit of innovation—just shallow sales pitches and theatrical appearances to maintain the illusion of competence. To make matters worse, the culture is steeped in discrimination and even racism. Engineers have been voicing complaints for decades, but the entrenched mafias ensure nothing ever changes.

Hello, Thank you for providing your feedback here on Glassdoor. We are very sorry about your negative experience. At Bosch, we stand for respectful cooperation and take a clear position against discrimination and racism. For years now, we have been addressing the topic of unconscious bias, and thus encourage reflecting on and reassessing prejudices and stereotypes. Possible cases of discrimination are consistently investigated at Bosch. If associates feel discriminated against, they have the opportunity to contact various agencies: In addition to trusted people who have an open ear in each department, you can also seek out a private conversation with social counseling or diversity management, both of which are subject to the confidentiality obligation. In addition, the many international associate networks such as women@bosch, afric@bosch, chinese@bosch, the Turkish Forum Bosch or family@bosch offer the option of a private or public exchange. In addition, the Bosch whistleblower system provides you with a whistleblower platform to report – anonymously if desired – complaints, e.g. about discriminatory statements, to the compliance department. The link to the system is: https://www.bkms-system.net/bkwebanon/report/clientInfo?cin=18RB2&c=-1&language=eng Moreover, everyone contributes to the company’s success with his or her expertise and skills – whether interns, experts, team leads, permanent associates or external associates. So it is actually a good thing when our views and ways of thinking differ. We encourage finding a variety of solutions. But we categorically reject the exclusion of individual associates. Nevertheless, we of course take your criticism very seriously. We hear you and would love to learn more about your experience and how we can improve. Please contact your former supervisor or HR contact person. Your feedback helps to realize a positive change. Thank you! We wish you all the best for your future! Your Bosch Career Team

Work-life balance is great and getting an internship extended is very common.

Cons

Not on the cutting edge of tech at all and they seem to move slowly much like the rest of the auto industry.
