Pros

- Very process oriented - Job security (immune to even the worst recessions) - Work/life balance (reasonable or no work load at all) - Innovative people are well rewarded - Library, Food, Flexible work timings

Cons

- This company caters well for people of at least 5-6 yrs of exp. and not for an entry level person - Grabbing a responsible position (specialist/architect) is extremely difficult given the political setting of the company - Should work for the appeasement of your boss and not towards the success of the project - There are certain sections/departments/projects which are existing only to show the head count and has got "no" real "work" to offer. Enquire about these before you even think of applying, because you would end up wasting your precious time of life sitting there without actually gaining anything. - The business unit handling the automotive domain, in the present time, has got no or very less work and its sheer waste of time working there. Beware of this. - German company for namesake. Absolutely nothing in true spirit of German work culture. - Those of you who feel depressed in some point of time in your life for not able to grab a govt. job despite your sincere efforts, this would be the befitting place for you
