Pros
If you get in the "good old boy network" you're golden. PTC is transforming itself into an "internet of Things" company, so if you're on that bandwagon, and connected to the movers and shakers in that area, you could be in for a good ride.
Cons
One of the most dysfunctional sales organizations I've been in over my 15 years in technical pre-sales. Their product sales and services sales are COMPLETELY siloed so that the idea of a true solution sale is impossible. Many of the product sales guys will actually pitch partner services because PTC Global Services are so over priced and hard to work with. I know because I was IN the Global Services group and couldn't make it work.
