Pros
The management at DocuSign actually listens to their team. Not only that, but managemenr at various levels (manager, director, VP) interact with the team regularly. They're open to our ideas, suggestions, and concerns. Our teammates are an amazing group of people. Each person adds their own flavor and we each care deeply about the success of one another. Yes, you are in charge of your own quota, but everyone wants to see you get there too. The company has invested SIGNIFICANTLY into our growth as sellers. As someone near the very beginning of my career, being invested in ways other than monetary (believe me, that happens too) was hugely important. I wanted to be taught good habits early, so 10 years down the line I don't have to spend time fixing bad habits. DocuSign was the best decision I made for that. I'm mentored by individuals in house and hired 3rd parties. My account executive helps me to learn, besides management, and in conjunction with my peers. I'm learning 'sales' from a number of angles, styles, and personalities and I couldn't be happier.
Cons
Our team is exploding. That's a great thing! But it also can make it hard on new members because it can be challenging to understand where and who your resources are. The 'veterans' help as much as possible, but many of us have only been around 6-9 months longer than the new hires so we also have a lot we're still learning. The company is exploding - also a great thing! People are moving up quickly and often! But, with that growth, our company and team have to adjust to help keep this big ship movin' in the right direction and sometimes that adjustment is challenging initially.
