Pros

I honestly enjoyed the crew at AAR OKC. They have a lot of company events for all employees (usually they accommodate night crew). And there's enough experienced guys that can help teach the new guys. They hire veterans without A&P which is how I was hired on. And they will pay for your tests when you're ready for them and you have enough OJT on record. They offer a 2 dollar raise once you get your Airframe and another 2 dollars once you earn your Powerplant

Cons

They don't pay well. Straight up. I've heard guys making 16/hr without their A&P. I was lucky enough to start out at 22.50, but it wasn't really cutting it since I was taking care of my son half the week and could only do 8 hour days for half of the week. That leads to my next complaint is that they expect you to do 10 hour days for 5 days a week. You can expect a Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs schedule which is wild.

Pros

good pay and that's it.

Cons

everything. where to start - new employees are treated like garbage. no vacation days until 6 months then you get 3 days.... for an entire year (sick/vacation). useless pto. no insurance... even though you are working for AAR they use a staffing company - which is still aar to get away with this. not paid for hours worked - manipulate hours/pay weeks in order to avoid paying OT. scummy leadership, favoritism, and unless you're related to or sleeping with someone in leadership - you will get laid off.
