Sharp Downturn - Best to Avoid

Pros

Great team, love my manager

Cons

Senior leadership is out of touch, lay offs and reorgs with no thought about the impact on engineers. Feels like we are in a sharp downturn with no clear direction. Energy sucks and a lot of people are about to abandon ship.

Pros

Great culture and benefits, great product, lots of resources, interesting and exciting work, and GREAT people

Cons

Tons of turnover in the last year, including 50% of new hires that I met. With the company growing pains, people aren't sure how to succeed, and many of the new managers they have hired don't know how to help either.
