Pros

The pay is good, and the benefits are great, if you need an income, Docusign will provide.

Cons

If you're looking for a place that will support you, help grow your career, or expand your knowledge by learning from the best—this is not the place. Docusign is facing many problems right now, and very little is being done to address them. The engineering organization is in a strange state. Teams typically have 9 to 10 developers, with some as large as 15 or more, often juggling multiple projects simultaneously. Silos have formed not only between teams but also within them. Layoffs have seemingly become a semi-annual occurrence, with sales teams affected in the spring and engineering teams in the fall. Morale appears to be at an all-time low, and the executive leadership team either struggles to inspire confidence or simply doesn't care—it’s hard to tell some days.

Pros

Collaborative & Inclusive Culture: I’ve loved working at DocuSign because of the people-first environment. Teams are genuinely supportive, and there’s a strong emphasis on collaboration. Whether it’s brainstorming sessions or company-wide hackathons, creativity and teamwork are always encouraged. Meaningful Impact: Working on a product that’s revolutionizing how businesses operate with IAM feels rewarding. Leadership keeps the customer at the center of decisions, which makes our work feel purposeful, especially when the customers share their happiness with the products we ship. Work-Life Balance: Flexible hours and remote/hybrid options (if applicable) make it easy to manage personal and professional priorities. Managers respect boundaries and encourage time off to recharge. Growth Opportunities: DocuSign invests in its employees. From mentorship programs to LinkedIn Learning access, I’ve had plenty of chances to upskill. Internal promotions are common, which speaks to the company’s commitment to talent development. Great Benefits: Competitive salary, generous stock options, comprehensive healthcare, and wellness perks (e.g., fitness stipends, mental health resources) show they care about employee well-being.

Cons

Fast-Paced Environment: The workload can sometimes feel intense due to the company’s rapid growth, but this also keeps things exciting. Transparent communication from leadership helps mitigate stress. Bureaucracy in Scaling: As with any growing tech company, there are occasional growing pains with processes, but teams are proactive about adapting.
