Pros

The management at DocuSign actually listens to their team. Not only that, but managemenr at various levels (manager, director, VP) interact with the team regularly. They're open to our ideas, suggestions, and concerns. Our teammates are an amazing group of people. Each person adds their own flavor and we each care deeply about the success of one another. Yes, you are in charge of your own quota, but everyone wants to see you get there too. The company has invested SIGNIFICANTLY into our growth as sellers. As someone near the very beginning of my career, being invested in ways other than monetary (believe me, that happens too) was hugely important. I wanted to be taught good habits early, so 10 years down the line I don't have to spend time fixing bad habits. DocuSign was the best decision I made for that. I'm mentored by individuals in house and hired 3rd parties. My account executive helps me to learn, besides management, and in conjunction with my peers. I'm learning 'sales' from a number of angles, styles, and personalities and I couldn't be happier.

Cons

Our team is exploding. That's a great thing! But it also can make it hard on new members because it can be challenging to understand where and who your resources are. The 'veterans' help as much as possible, but many of us have only been around 6-9 months longer than the new hires so we also have a lot we're still learning. The company is exploding - also a great thing! People are moving up quickly and often! But, with that growth, our company and team have to adjust to help keep this big ship movin' in the right direction and sometimes that adjustment is challenging initially.

Pros

It's a great company that is currently gaining a huge market share in a short period of time, people here help each other in order to achieve company and personal goals, which creates a nice place to work.

Cons

High experienced people are most targeted for spots in the company. Few positions are filled with medium and low experienced people.

Pros

Amazing main office location and work environment in San Francisco Great social and art team Lots of partners and integration with the product Developer marketing and evangelizing of APIs is strong Good reputation and established customer base

Cons

Blindsides happen - if things aren't going well for you (even though you may think they are) be warned, there is no formal process for termination or performance plan to turn things around. I received an exit note in my email one day without warning with no recourse or reason in writing. Slowing down - new security review processes have been put in place to reduce risk over the past year - most without prior warning. The problem is that simple things like a simple read-only partner integration between cloud apps has to go through a multi-part and prolonged process to be approved and implemented. If you like to move fast and get things done quickly in the environment anticipate long wait times and due process. One dimensional - The product is focused on e-signature and the workflow associated with it. While the best in the industry, the challenge is that since its not a multi-product company or platform you will be doing your work around the signing event. Product innovation slow - Since I was hired nearly two years ago the product was being transitioned to the "new experience". Nearly two years later the product is still in transition and a lot of core things still need to be done on aged classic platform. Budget cuts - the road to profitability has led to a lot more scrutiny of budgets and sometimes employee perks. Leadership stagnant - leadership showing its age for a pre-ipo company
