Pros

Fast growing company who sets global standard in its field Very dynamic working environment Great technology with a clear value to customers

Cons

Too many changes (people and processes), unstable working environment Complex processes, responsibility is spread into too many departments and sometimes can be very frustrating Too much focus on revenues and less on people

Thank you for writing this review. Please share your ideas re: complex processes and responsibility spread across departments with your management and/or me (Ann Poletti) and/or Michael Erisman. We are trying to root out any inefficiencies but we need everybody to call them out so we can address them.

Pros

The product is amazing and the global opportunity is massive. NPS scores of DocuSign rival Amazon and Apple..almost unheard of for a company who's main focus is Enterprise. The people are smart, results driven but respectful. Everyone is rowing in the same direction and the culture is one of collaboration vs sharp elbows. We are growing aggressively (lots of opportunity to advance) and great to be the market leader. We have upgraded the talent across the board from the earlier days and have some amazing leaders who can take us to a $1B plus company. The CEO and the leaders genuinely care about the employees. Work/life balance. My experience here is that I have the flexibility I want as long as I deliver. I think this is true across the company. It is not a culture of "butt in seat" 14 hours a day. You can feel comfortable leaving early if you need to catch your child's play or sporting event and it's encouraged.

Cons

Hyper growth is not easy. We have offices in SF, SEA, Dublin, London, Tokyo, Sydney, Paris, Tel Aviv and Sao Paulo. Systems, process and training are all playing catch up to the growth of the company. We have invested in the right tools and systems but need to implement globally to make it easier to do the actual work.

Pros

DocuSign is continuing to grow at a rapid pace. There are my opportunities for growth and strong leadership in place right now. Team culture is really strong and customers love the product.

Cons

As with any hyper-growth company, we struggle with scaling our internal processes. Internal policies and procedures are often unclear.

Thanks. We are working on a company intranet which should be a great hub and more easily navigated place for all information about how to do stuff and get stuff done quickly. Hopefully that will address your "con".
