- IC job titles don't mean anything in marketing (specialist, manager, sr. manager) you're all doing the same level of work
- No promotions, lack of career development. Management prefers to hire externally than promote internally. For example, people will switch roles or leave the company and they will hire a backfill externally a level higher.
- People are expected take on additional work when coworkers leave (which is constant btw)
- Incompetent leadership and managers, lack of direction, gaslighting, very political, bullying, leadership never takes accountability or makes changes despite constant feedback, managers will take credit for your work
- Expectation to work above and beyond with no reward or recognition
- Working relationship with PLG is demanding and very one-sided, not very collaborative
- Constant sense of urgency, management always expects you to launch something ASAP, everything is a P0, fire drills, your plate will always be full
