Pros

DocuSign Product is the best in class and keeps getting better most of the people are great to work with Great location, great benefits

Cons

Management in some departments are sorely lacking in helping their direct reports succeed. Current positions could change with the drop of a hat and a career direction you were headed in may no longer be through the position you took. To be considered for promotions into roles you would succeed at, be prepared to have to spend your nights going to the bar or karaoke with people you may not like to be "Friends" with them.

Pros

They offer competitive packages for new employees, transportaion stipend, a plethora of healthy snacks at work, free insurance for employees, meaningful impact goals for the environment, lots of office socials, they offer an education stipend and offer many in office career development opportunities/classes. Most people seem to get in around 9am and leave at 5:30 or 6pm. Work life balance seems good.

Cons

They don't offer full meals like many other tech companies do, no gym membership incentives, I've heard its hard to get competitive pay raises for internal promotions, they are not big on working from home and prefer employees to work from the office, they need an office enviormental update as the spaces are very white, I wish we could brings dogs to work. The office is divided by floors so its hard to meet others in different departments.

Thank you for the detailed review. Good to hear that you like the benefits etc. especially the education and career development opportunities. Yes, conference rooms are tight in SF and the good news is we are expanding our footprint in the building. Help is on the way.

Pros

Great benefits like generous Parental Leave (for either parent) and Volunteer Time Off show that DocuSign is willing to put their money where their mouth is and promote a positive, personal-life-friendly culture.

Cons

Still have some way to go with diversity, specifically around hiring practices/interviews, but I do believe they are genuinely open to the feedback which is rare.

So glad you are happy with our 6 month fully paid parental leave and IMPACT VTO time. Diversity is an area of focus. If you have any ideas of how we can improve our approach, please share those with our head of Diversity, Charlotte Flanagan.
