      Pros

      Great place to launch a career and gain industry experience. Internal networking opportunities are endless. Within several years you will know former coworkers at various top business/law school, investment firms, and consulting firms.

      Cons

      You don't have much control over which projects you're placed on early in your career. Despite what management says, there are projects which are worthless for your career (unless you stay with the firm). Some of these projects can go on for years.

      Pros

      The best thing about Deloitte is the ability to place the name on your resume.....the people are are "A" type personalities and work very hard for a common goal. It is a great place to launch a career and get the immediate experience needed.

      Cons

      One word utilization, this is what they track and frankly do not do a great job tracking the staff levels compared to the engagements....otherwise told as clients come and go.....Deloitte reacts dramatically to protect partnership returns. One message from management is that all is well first part of the week then they are letting resources go by the end of the week and then hiring first years the next week.....makes no sense, except to protect margins.

      Upward movement if you want it. A lot of knowledgeable people to learn from

      Staffing not communicated to employees. Talks all about work life balance but does not practice it.
