Pros
The best thing about Deloitte is the ability to place the name on your resume.....the people are are "A" type personalities and work very hard for a common goal. It is a great place to launch a career and get the immediate experience needed.
Cons
One word utilization, this is what they track and frankly do not do a great job tracking the staff levels compared to the engagements....otherwise told as clients come and go.....Deloitte reacts dramatically to protect partnership returns. One message from management is that all is well first part of the week then they are letting resources go by the end of the week and then hiring first years the next week.....makes no sense, except to protect margins.
