      Pros

      Respect and recognition that people are the most important part of the business. Commitment of the company towards the development of the people.

      Cons

      Inconsistency of the promotions and salary policy between functional groups AND within functional group. Designation of "Favorites" and arbitrary nature of partner promotions. A nebulous category exists "partner" material that is undefined. People with similar metrics would have different treatment. This exists even at certain lower levels. Even though I love working here I know first hand of several people for whom this was a reason for departure.

      Pros

      The company is well respected and the name looks good on a resume. The work experience as a young person out of college is excellent. Early in your career you deal with complex accounting issues and are able to interact with important client peronnel. In addition, you are allotted an immense amount of responsibility and are able to supervise junior staff.

      Cons

      The course your career takes is often the result of your first client assignment, which can seem very random. The rating and feedback process is not very transparent and does not do a good job of differentiating top performers from their less successful peers. The job can get extremely repetitive and frustrating.

      Pros

      Great culture! Colleagues are mostly high caliber, hard working professionals. Firm emphasizes networking, continuous professional growth, and unparalleled opportunities to work on high profile projects with the worlds most recognizable brand names. Overall, an excellent place to advance a career if you have the talent and drive to do so.

      Cons

      Long hours are the norm. If you enjoy predictable 9-5 schedule, then this place is not for you. Work life balance is preached, but not really practiced consistently. Its definitely more work and less life. There is constant pressure to perform and advance - definitely up or out. This environment is not for the faint of heart.
