      Pros

      Possibility to work in different companies, industries and environments all the time. We do and execute the top trends in management consulting.

      Cons

      The management consulting job is very demanding and we always have to work under strong pressure (client and management). Also, the salaries in industries in general tend be higher than in consulting when comparing the same amount of experience in years between professionals.

      Pros

      The best reason for working for Deloitte is its brand. It is recognized and respected in the industry. When it's time for transition the name brand does help your resume stand out.

      Cons

      Probably the most common complaint is the travel. Be prepared to live off your suitcase. Also communication between management and staff are non existent. Also you really don't have control on which projects you will be staffed and stay long enough you become a generalist.

      Pros

      The people! Hands down that it was make Deloitte a great place to work. There is a genuine concern for your well-being and career advancement

      Cons

      As much as they pay lip service to the idea of work life balance, it is just a really hard thing to expect as a management consultant. Also, because it is a structured organization, there are a LOT of hoops to jump through to get from level to level. Although the path to career progression is laid out fairly clearly, there is little one can do to accelerate the process. Additionally, there is a sense of having more control over your path & projects than you actually have...not necessarily a bad thing but it helps to be aware of it.
