Pros
Large breadth of opportunities. Every 18-24 months you can switch roles, and each time, it's like working for an entirely different company. Different organizations have varying strengths and weaknesses, so it's most important to make sure you're a good fit for the organization. Also, your mileage may vary with different managers.
Cons
- Bureaucracy. It's a large company, and it can be difficult to get all the pieces in play/people motivated to get a large project going. - Some see the constant change or ambiguity as a downside. Dell isn't a place for you if you need stability and strict job definitions.
