Pros
Dell pays its employees well - at or above market most of the time. I have also seen that the organization is supportive of peoples' work-life balance needs. Dell is also a leader in its industry and as such affords work experiences that few other companies can provide.
Cons
Since the company has not been doing well, employee morale is somewhat low. The company's management team is relatively young and as such it is difficult to come by promotions and opportunities in management. Networking plays a huge role in career progressions, not just merit alone.
