Used to pay well but "bonus" was cut during covid.

Cons

Most of the capable workers who have worked for a long time have left. Leftovers are those who don't do work and only talk no action. Managers don't care about employee career growth and only care about themselves. Not appreciative of employees who work for them. No career progression. Only want "yes sir" employees. No work life balance and no flexible working hours.

+ Open-type office structure makes the interaction between colleagues active + Open, honest and clear goals to achieve in each responsibility + Interdepartmental/intercontinental changes are promoted + Both salaries and ranks are being modified according to your performance so you are awarded well if you perform well

Cons

- Hierarchy is important since it is a Japanese company - Bureaucracy is relatively slow when it comes to following the procedures - Still under heavy influence of Japan HQ from daily sales administration to top-level management - Better to keep an eye on work/life balance

Inside canteen food subsidy, so the food is slightly cheaper

Daikin's working culture is the worst. I've been working so many years and this is the first company that I'll see superior talking bad about engineers with contractors. Also, talking bad about engineers to literally everyone, not protecting engineers , pushing us under the bus. ASK FOR THEIR TURNOVER RATE and you'd know. They expect you to work with heads down for that low salary.
