Pros

There are a lot of nice people.

Cons

Out of touch management, few opportunities for growth, not very progressive or mindful of work/life balance. Everything is always an emergency, the factory is always behind, units always perform worse than was predicted. Hard-working, conscientious employees are often laid off or fired, while slackers seem to thrive. No employee voice. I'll admit things got better when the company was acquired by Daikin, but not much. There needs to be a good clean-out of middle and upper management.

Location is wonderful in Staunton, VA. No traffic, beautiful scenery, great apartments. Generally friendly coworkers.

Cons

No advancement opportunities, applying for internal positions is frowned upon. Management holds you to a hirer standard than they hold themselves.
