Pros

Good benefits, PTO, accomodations, experience gain.

Cons

I worked in IT support for a few years, there was very little to no growth opportunity for internal employees, Yearly salary merit increase is not based on performance but on how well you get along with yout manager or what corporate decides that year to give the base employees, manager level and higher do get juicy bonuses however. Daikin is a fast growing company here in the USA but the culture and mentality is not forward but stuck in the old ways. IT is regarded as the servants of the company often being treated as external employees. Management has failed to address behaviours from individuals that have made it very difficult for new employees to thrive, instead toxic employees get rewarded. I do not recomend this place if you want a healthy work environment.

Pros

- Good bonuses with basic benefits - Have a active wellness committee that arranges eventful activities for employees - Able to find some colleagues who are nice and helpful - Pro-drinking alcohol environment (good for those heavy drinkers) - Yearly overseas bonding trip for all employees, 3 - 4 days - Opportunity to travel overseas for work and training, engaging with international colleagues (thailand, china, japan)

Cons

- Low basic salary - Micro-managed environment, most of the time waiting for higher management to make decisions - High possibility to suffer from health issues, both mentally and physically (prepare supplements to help). - All achievements are always credited to the top management and not to individuals - No career progression unless after working for 10 - 15 years, it's a flat management organisation - Employees are expected to work overtime regularly to prove that they are hardworking and to earn a higher appraisal
