Mostly addressed at this point, but is an indicator that the company somewhat conservative in supporting it's employees. While valuing and promoting a 'just do it' mentality they failed to deliver on that value during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Working at the office in Rotterdam had a lot of perks, which you don't get when working remotely. And Coolblue does consider the 'at the office perks' part of it's compensation strategy, which during the COVID-19 working-from-home requirements makes Coolblue lose out of the appeal they used to have and exploit. Perhaps a temporary thing, but work hasn't been as fun as it used to before COVID-19.
