      Pros

      Senior management has led a great turn-around and have been very transparent and honest regarding the short term and long term challenges. They are working to improve employee development and financial compensation based on performance. Continental stresses the highest quality parts and the greatest attention to customer service. Most segments and groups allow you to take on greater tasks and challenges with the flexibility to decide approach and direction. Nothing is given without hard work and dedication but Continental will eventually recognize it if you provide it. I have always been very proud of every single product we produce and sell during my years with Continental.

      Cons

      The Automotive segment is not as lucrative as some professions so don't expect the greatest compensation. At times it appears that career development takes a very long time to achieve promotion between successive levels. Like many large corporations, Continental is looking to continue improving internal communications between segments as well.

      The People, hands down. Exciting projects. Transparency.

      Cons

      It seems that Conti-worldwide is all at the mercy of the German HQ. Salary's are on the low end, but the work environment makes it tough to leave. HR seems like they are pulling "fast ones" on benefits and salaries, just about yearly... (Stop benchmarking other companies, and give us what you think we deserve or have earned).
