      Pros

      getting experience in worldwide FMCG company, working with experience people, nice atmosphere, people are willing to help and share their knowledge

      Cons

      Business Partner employees (on a contract by external agency) are treated as a secondary employees, they have no trainings, have no clarity when there will be headcount available, company preferes to employ people from outside not to promote interns on a assistant possition

      Pros

      The CEO is very ethics and quality focused. There is a formal process where everyone lists their career goals every year. The company also went through a restructure, and impacted people where given sufficient notice and opportunity to apply for other open positions. Headquarters is in NYC which is great for people who like big-city life. The company also has some smaller offices in smaller towns. Also a very, very strong internation presence. The company does a great job moving high potential talent across different countries.

      Cons

      There are a few people who are low performers who I've seen get shifted from job to job. In my mind it would be better to let them go instead of letting a low performer stick around for 15 years. Having headquarters in NYC is a negative for me. I wish Colgate was based in a city with lower cost of living. The international business can be seen as a con; if a promotion opens up, you are not only competing with people in your home country, but people all over the world for that promotion.

      Pros

      The work/life balance is execellent. So is the company culture. I love that this is a family oriented company who understands that employees have lives outside of work. The office hours are great! You can't beat 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM! Summer Fridays is a bonus as well and I feel that the company does think about employee retirement and does a lot to ensure that employees have a good income even once they retire.

      Cons

      The salary is ok, but it could be a bit higher in New York since the cost of living is so high.
