Pros

If you fit the profile, Capgemini is a great place to work, where you get lots of opportunities to grow your skills and competencies. Capgemini has it's own training facilities globally, some good (leadership) coaching and as long as they like you, it is yours to benefit from.

Cons

Profit/loss entities are too small and are too much driven by .. profit. There are no apparent motivators for ensuring competency development and healthy career paths within the organization. And this is not just since the recession. Combined with the almost mandatory change in management every year means after some years, everyone will at some stage end up as a resource in a monthly excel sheet, more than someone who is close to their managers and gets the growth/development opportunities that make Capgemini a great company.
