Pros

Working hours is relatively better than other firms. Overall nice place.

Cons

Pay freeze announced at start of the year despite hiring new people into multiple teams - where is the common sense? Senior colleagues still get their bonuses and more interesting projects work. Have a look at the average review ratings by senior consultants compared to consultant Really shows the VPs value everyone! Overall number of promotions has been slim ; Some great people have been promoted (rightly so) and some not so great people . Dreadful people have been promoted with little to no people skills and less compassion than a spoon. Leadership display not much strategy and there is endless amounts of meaningless internal work

Pros

Since joining, the opportunities and support for relevant qualifications has been outstanding. So much support is there for me to complete exams that would better my career, and a lot of them pay a bonus to go with that. Projects so far have been super fun and exciting, and everyone is very excited about their work which is great.

Cons

Despite the success of invent in the UK and its individual departments, it seems to suffer from the decisions of wider capgemini group, things like no pay rises for the next year are wild and are sure to upset a lot of people. If I had been here longer I would be pretty concerned.

Pros

Good drive in internal initiatives around wellbeing etc Good graduate scheme with a large grad community Very flexible WFH policy Decent pay

Cons

Very large bench - big pieces of client work are not being won which causes a lack of roles. Senior Leadership team pressure you to get on a project which is virtually impossible if there is limited work. The work that is being won is BORING! No interesting pieces of work - nowhere near as 'innovative' as they market. Internal initiatives are good but due to such a large push on internal contribution, it promotes a culture of people starting initiatives just to be able to say they've done something rather than actual meaningful work. Not good development in core consulting principles - development is not that great in comparison to other firms.
